BJYM protests against erring private schools
Abids: Activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) staged protest before Little Flower School, located on Chapel Road here on Wednesday, condemning the excessive fees being charged by the school.
BJYM activists led by BJYM city president Vinay sat before the school and raised slogans against the school management. While there are strict instructions from the education department that the fee limit of Rs 20,000 should not be charged, the school management has been charging Rs 2-3 lakh as fees, BJYM activists alleged.
They also criticised the officials of education department for turning blind eye despite flagrant violations of instructions issued by the department. The activists accused the officials of taking bribes from school managements to ignore their violations. BJYM warned of laying siege to DEO office and house of education minister if the education department fails to take actions against erring school managements.
