Bright future awaits Pharma students
Musheerabad: A free awareness programme on career guidance was organized by various branches of Master Pharmacy course here at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram here on Sunday. Professor Kala Kumar, vice-president of All-India United Pharmacy Federation, Krishna Mohan, special officer of Telangana Gurukul Schools' Association, Vinaya Kala and Director of Master Pharmacy, Dinesh spoke at the programme.
The speakers advised students to opt for pharmacy course as they would have a bright future both nationally as well as internationally. The State government has given utmost priority to pharma sector and the Telangana State has become a major hub for pharma industry, they said. As much as 60 per cent of total pharma drugs are being produced in India and Hyderabad contributes significant part of it, they said.
Director of Master pharmacy Dinesh said that their organization has been providing training and employment opportunities to those students who aspire to join pharma sector.
Later, Dinesh and Vinaya Kala presented a cheque of Rs 50,000 and a memento to students of the institute Gautham and Bhargav, who secured all India first ranking in pharmacy. The teaching staff and students of the institute participated in the program.
