Campaign creates health awareness among kids

Kavadiguda: With the objective of raising health awareness among children studying at KGK Vidya Bhavan in Kavadiguda, an innovative show was presented for a week. As part of the show, the children were asked to wear a specific colour dresses and bring same coloured fruit on the day.

Children wore seven different colors and displayed seven coloured fruits, explaining the benefits of eating fruit each day. Speaking on the occasion, the principal, Achutavalli, explained the importance of maintaining good health.

She said that the show was organized to raise health awareness among children and to make them aware of the benefits of eating different kinds of fruit for good health and growth. She thanked parents who helped in making the show successful. During the show, children also explained the harms of eating fast foods, such as burgers and noodles. School teachers Nagarani, Manju, Sushma, parents and school students participated in the show.
