Candle rally held over minor's rape and killing

Patancheru: A candle rally to protest against the murder of Twinkle Sharma and rapes of other minors in the country was organised here on Monday by members of The People's Organisations and Youth Associations.

Participants in the rally, who marched from Gandhi statue to Dr B R Ambedkar's statue, expressed anguish over the deteriorating law and order situation in the country.

Town Congress president Narsimha Reddy, NDR Foundation president Madhu, Navabharat Yuva Sena president Mettu Sridhar, Sangareddy District BC Students' wing president Balram, Ashish Goud, Rajasekhar, Chary, Naga Raju, TJAC's Vijay and others took part in the rally.
