Ch Malla Reddy, Bonthu Rammohan lay stone for development works

Kapra: Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy, along with Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, laid foundation stones for development works in Meerpet Housing Board division on Tuesday. The works include storm water drains, drainage facility from Krishnanagar Colony to Rajarajeshwari function hall, costing Rs 5.92 lakh.

Speaking later, Reddy asserted that developments were taking place at a rapid pace after the TRS government came to power. He told the colony residents that all essential works were being taken up to ease their hardships.

The Mayor expressed confidence that Hyderabad would be developed into a mega city, with progress on all fronts, at the instance of Minister K Taraka Rama Rao. He said efforts were on to replace the city's old drainage pipeline to avoid hardships to people during rainy season .

Among those present at the function were Uppal MLA Bethi Subash Reddy, corporators Gollur Anjayya, Pannala Devender Reddy and Pavani Reddy, TRS leaders Shravan Kumar Goud, Vanjari Praveen and Srinivas Reddy.
