Hyderabad: Sparking positive change and awareness among Hyderabadi citizens on the importance of road safety, Honda two-wheelers India on Tuesday celebrated the 4th anniversary of its adopted Traffic Training Park in Hyderabad at Goshamahal.

Creating a safe road mind-set from young age itself, Honda has educated more than 50,000 young children. The 5-8-year-olds learn road safety basics through fun learning & games while 9-12-year-olds get practical experience of correct road sense and safe riding on CRF 50 motorcycle.

In April 2015, Honda adopted its traffic training park in Hyderabad (its first such park in complete south India) in association with the Hyderabad Traffic Police and administration. Since then, Honda's initiative has already educated more than 85,000 citizens on road-safety & safe-riding in just 4 years.

Prabhu Nagaraj, Vice-President - Brand & Communication, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd said, "Honda believes that as the world's largest two-wheeler brand, it is our corporate social responsibility to spread road safety awareness among not only two-wheeler riders but also road users at large. Honda has educated more than 85,000 Hyderabad people through our traffic park in just 4 years.

Today, be it a 5-year-old child, an 18-year adult who is learning how to ride a two-wheeler, a homemaker in her 30s or even an existing two-wheeler rider; Honda is taking the message of road safety to all age groups. Through our traffic park. Honda has empowered 3,500 females to become independent riders and inculcated road safety awareness to over 50,000 children in the city."
