Chinnajeer asks govt to promote homeopathy
Nacharam: Sri Tridandi Chinnajeer Swamy on Monday called upon the TRS government to promote homeopathy in the State. He announced launching of a homeo college in his ashram at Shamshabad. Inaugurating the second Telangana State convention of the Indian Institute of Homeopathy at IICT, he said in the recent past homeopathy has been found to be patronised by people.
About 300 homeo doctors, including those from Kolkata, Punjab, besides Hyderabad, attended the convention. They delivered talks on current health problems. Twelve doctors received lifetime achievement awards.
Organising secretary Mahesh urged the TRS government to launch Homeo dispensaries and Homeo colleges in the State. He pleaded for increased stipend for PG Homeo interns on a par with those studying Allopathy, filling of vacant posts in AYUSH dispensaries and colleges and launch of Homeo dispensaries in important temples.
