Christmas gifts distributed at Vinoba Nagar church

Tarnaka: As part of Christmas celebrations , local corporator Alakunta Saraswati distributed Christmas gifts on behalf of Telangana state government at Vinoba Nagar church on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Saraswati said that the CM KCR had started the initiative of giving Christmas gifts to enable poor people celebrate the festival happily. She said that the state government had taken several measures to ensure that people of all religions celebrate their festivals happily.

Gifts were being given on the instructions of deputy speaker T Padma Rao Goud and gifts would be given to every Christian in constituency, she said. Pastors, Christian religious heads, local TRS leaders and others participated in the programme.
