Classical dance show enthralls audience
Shilparamam amphitheatre hosted an evening of classical music and dance recital by Radha Nritya Nilayam
Shilparamma witnessed an evening of culture and elegance as part of weekend cultural programs at Amphi-theatre of Shilparamam on Sunday. The show started with Carnatic music and Bharath Natyam.
A team headed by Devulapalli Shirisha sang Ramdas, Annamaya, Purandaradas and Swathi Tirunal kirtans in the Carnatic style. Among kirtans that the team sung include 'Pavanatmaja', 'Ramabhadra rara', 'Raminchu varevarura', 'Shankara sri giri', Guruni smarimpumu', 'Karuna Chudave', 'Rama Sithamma' and others. Kalyan Abhijit played mridangam and Shailaja played violin.
Later, audience was captivated by the Bharata Natyam performance by a team from Radha Nritya Nilayam headed by Radharani. The team gave performances on topics 'Pushpanjali', 'Devatha Vandana', 'Jati Swaram', 'Sri Raghukulamandu', 'Kavadi Chindu', 'Bhu Shambho', Jaya Janardhana', 'Anjaneya Thillana' and others.
The team of dancers include Ashritha, Tanusri, Sri Vidya, Vaishali, Krithika, Vibhuthi, Anil, Akhila, Tanisha, Lakshmisri, Swarna Pushpa and others.
