Climate Change: The buck stops with us!
Climate change and environmental degradation has been posing an existential threat to the humanity. They are also important social justice issues, as they affect the underprivileged the worst; those who are the least responsible for them in the first place. The recently published IPBES summary report calls for transformative changes across all levels, to prevent a climate catastrophe.
This session complements climate change mitigation efforts that pressurise governments to act; it features a short ground-breaking documentary that uncovers our own single-most devastating, yet ignored act, despite mounting scientific evidence, and shows how aligning our actions to our values and acting with integrity take us through a quick, viable path to sustainability. This programme primarily targets students, but it is open to anyone interested.
