CM eyeing properties of RTC: Round-table

Update: 2019-11-06 02:15 IST

Bagh Lingampally: Noted social activist JB Raju described the attempts to privatise RTC as a conspiracy hatched by the CM KCR with a dubious plan to encroach RTC properties. He was speaking at a round-table organised by Bahuja Left Front (BLF) at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram on Tuesday.

Raju alleged that CM KCR had been ignoring the RTC strike as most of the RTC employees belong to downtrodden sections of the society. Though SCs, STs and BCs and constitute 93% of populations, the state was being ruled by forward casts, he said. Lack of unity among BCs, who constitute 60% of the population, was the reason the CM was able to come to power, he said. BLF convener Surya Prakash said that people were vexed with feudal attitude of CM KCR.

Condemning CM's remarks that he would formulate industrial policy without unions, he said that it would be the beginning of the end of KCR's political career. He said that the state of Telangana would be saved only when 'Bahujans' come to power.

BLF conveners MannaramNagaraju, Maddikayala Ashok, Thandra Kumar, leaders Sambashiva Rao, Palwai Nagesh, Dhandi Venkat, Ramana and others participated in the round-table.
