Basheerbagh: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga has accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of having a say in the encounter killing of Disha case accused to "secure the praise of a particular caste."

He claimed that the ruling party leaders in AP had persuaded KCR to order the encounter killing. He cited Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's laudatory reference (salute) to KCR in the State Assembly recently.

Manda Krishna described the encounter killing as 'murders,' at a convention organised by the SC, ST, BC and Minorities Joint Forum. The MRPS leader announced that he would undertake a fast on December 24 near Indira Park to protest against the inordinate delay in punishing culprits involved in increasing cases of attacks, murders and rapes of women.

He accused the Cyberabad police of snatching legal rights rather than investigating the Disha case, and alleged that politicians like G Kishan Reddy, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Revanth Reddy and Komati Reddy, were reacting only when persons belonging to their caste were attacked, but remaining silent when SC, ST, BC and Minority women were assaulted.

Manda Krishna demanded a fast track court for cases of assaults on women belonging to SC, ST, BC and minority communities. Those who attended the convention included MLC Ramulu Naik, former minister D Ravindra Naik, National BC Welfare Association vice president Gujju Krishna and dalit leader J B Raju.
