Kukatpally: Patancheru constituency Congress in charge Kata Srinivas Goud claimed here on Thursday that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was 'hatching a plot' to hand over the assets of RTC to business magnates like "MEGA" Krishna Reddy and Rameshwar Rao of Myhome Constructions.

He was addressing a demonstration staged by the RTC employees at BHEL depot on the sixth day of strike. Telugu Yuvata Sangareddy district president Yadla Ramesh and MCPI state leader Thandra Kumar also addressed the protestors.

Leaders of these parties and people's associations expressed solidarity with the strikers. Heavy police bandobast was deployed to prevent any untoward incident. The RTC employees raised slogans against the State government resenting its policies. Srinivas Goud told the demonstrators that KCR was trying to weaken the RTC and sell its assets.

He alleged that the CM was planning to sell valuable RTC lands to his relatives. It is shameful that the government, instead of coming forward for holding talks to solve the RTC workers' problems, was hatching a conspiracy against them', the Congress leader pointed out.

Ramesh said all trade unions and people's organisations were uniting to pave the way for ending the 'dictatorial' KCR rule. He remarked that the days of KCR were numbered. Among those present during the demonstration were RTC JAC leader D V K Rao, leaders of all parties, workers and trade unions.
