Cop thrashes man who sought help

Vikarabad: Narsimhulu of Madireddypalli Village in Nawabpet mandal is allegedly beaten up by a head constable. He was shifted to the local government hospital on Sunday.

The victim had a land dispute with his brother and both approached the local police station. Kin of the victim alleged that head constable Srinivas Goud beat up Narasimhulu severely.

They complained against the head constable to Additional SP Bhaskar, demanding action. The Additional SP told them to shift the victim to Hyderabad immediately for better treatment. He assured departmental action if the constable is proved guilty.
