CPI demands protection of govt land for school

Uppal: V S Bose, a member of CPI State Executive, on Thursday demanded steps to save government land in Survey No 510 from encroachers. After visiting the site along with other party leaders, he wanted the administration to take stringent action against land grabbers, while pointing out that the 22 guntas land in survey no 510 were allotted in 2012 for a government school.

The CPI leader demanded steps by GHMC to protect government lands in Uppal mandal. He said the land allotted for school should be taken possession of and stringent action taken against realtors and encroachers. Among those present during the visit were party district executive member G Damodar Reddy, S S Shankar Rao, senior party leader Basavayya, AIYF district president T Satya Prasad.
