Customer satisfaction key to banking sector stability

Bahadurpura: In a major development the SBI (State Bank of India) Telangana circle has elevated almost 142 branch managers to the post of Chief Managers, pending their postings.

Many managers are now feeling contented with their endurance of carrying out during day-to-day affairs in the banks. Among them a few have even received laurels for attracting good investment through insurance and liaising for loans to customers.

"The experience is quite encouraging and even boosted our morale. After working in various management facilities, I got the first chance to deal face to face with the customers as a branch manager at Hussaini Alam where I completed almost three full years.

Last three years are full of real time experience of coming face to face with the customers. This experience of manager customer concept is quite encouraging and invigorating," exulted Chenoju Venkateshwarlu, Branch Manager of SBI Hussaini Alam, who is one among those awarded promotions.

Earlier, I served at the head office at Gun foundry and various other offices under administrative domain. But I joined Hussaini Alam Branch as a full-time Manager in September 2019. This is my first every experience of working outside the administrative facilities and I was moved by the hospitality of the customers at the branch. I learned the importance of manager-customer relationship during this period.

During this tenure, I was felicitated with Best Achievement Award last year for performing well in insurance segment. During the last two years, I completed the target of over Rs 2 crore, consecutively, for covering insurance, for which I was conferred with the award," he added.
