Damaged dustbin not replaced at Hayatnagar division

Hayatnagar: Dust bins which are arranged by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) at Hayatnagar division have been lying damaged for some time, with the result that people are avoiding them and dumping garbage in the open. The area is located on the national highway.

Many political leaders and officials travel on the route but there has been no response from any of them. Locals are dumping the garbage waste just beside the damaged dustbin. The person who works in the fast food centre nearby burns the waste daily as it is releasing a lot of stench and affecting his business.

But the people in the vicinity are sore over the smoke and as garbage burning is banned in the city.
