Drainage overflow issue resolved at Krishna Nagar

Krishna Nagar: Sewage pipeline cleaning works have been completed to stop frequent overflow of drains in Krishna Nagar. Sanjay Goud, the corporator, took the issue as a priority and arranged for super-sucker services to end the problem. He inspected the works on Tuesday. Residents expressed happiness over getting relief from the years-old concern.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay said, "Around 10 lanes would be benefited and the entire B-block of Krishna Nagar is free from overflow issue. Now, it's the responsibility of citizens to use them properly. I request everyone not to throw any solid waste into the pipelines."

Residents of the area thanked him and officials for the relief, "It gives immense pleasure to get relief from the years-old drain overflow issue in the area," said Parathap, a resident. Ward members Ravi, Kalyan and Sai were also present at the inspection.
