Drainage works left midway; locals angry

Temple Alwal: The unfinished works of drainage in the area opposite to the temple here has been causing inconvenience to shopkeepers, customers and pedestrians. K Sudha, a local resident, said "The way towards the temple where the drainage is open with spoilt path for pedestrians to walk by the area. Especially during the monsoon season it becomes difficult to pass through the area with bad roads and drainage."

P Ramesh, a pedestrian, said "The area becomes difficult to pass through when water gets overflown from the drainage along with the garbage beside it. The drainage's incomplete work should be finished along with the required space around it which will make it easier to pass through the area."
