Dry run for COVID-19 begins in Hyderabad

A dry run for COVID-19 began in Hyderabad on Saturday at three sites in the city which include Primary health care centre at Tilaknagar, government area hospital of Nampally, Yashoda hospital in Somajiguda.

Coronavirus vaccine dry run in Hyderabad: A dry run for COVID-19 began in Hyderabad on Saturday at three sites in the city which include Primary health care centre at Tilaknagar, government area hospital of Nampally, Yashoda hospital in Somajiguda. Apart from it, the dry run also began at three other places in Mahabubnagar district -- Janampet PHC, district general of hospital and Neha Shine hospital.

Around 25-30 persons are being chosen at each centre to participate in the programme. From gathering the details of the person vaccinated and entering their information online, all the process of the dry run is being verified.

Meanwhile, the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh began the vaccine dry run at 13 sites in the state on Saturday to check the effectiveness of Vaccine Intelligence Network (COVIN) software. The dry run is being continued at 39 centres i.e, three from each district. The government ensured to set up dry run centres at each district in the state.
