English and Foreign Languages University holds 4k Run

Tarnaka: Prof E Suresh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, flagged off the 4K Run on Sunday at EFL University. The run was organised as a part of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the University.

Students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the university actively participated in large numbers in the event.The 4K run participants started off from the EFLU Gate No 1, circled round the Osmania University Landscape Garden,exited near Law College and finished at Gate No 1, EFLU.

The 4K Run also coincides with the World Health Day. Apart from the 4K run, six other track and field events had been organised for the students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the University. While flagging off the run, Prof Suresh Kumar said that physical fitness and well-being should be a defining part of human life for a healthy and disciplined life to fight out the stressful modern lifestyle.
