Fee hike for law courses flayed

Osmania University: Various student associations, including DSU, TVS, PDSU (Vijrumbana) and BDSF have condemned fee hike for law courses in Telangana State. On Wednesday, the representatives of various student associations met LAWCET convener Prof Ramesh Babu and submitted a memorandum demanding the withdrawal of the fee hike. They expressed their anger at the doubling of the fee compared to the last year.

They urged the convener to take stringent action against those private law colleges, which are taking original certificates from students. They demanded the higher education council of Telangana government to reconsider their decision to increase tuition fee for law courses. Student leaders Janardhan, Sameert, Anand Rao, Rajkumar and others were present on the occasion.
