Flyover works make it hard for commuters
Medipally: Vehicle-users on the Hyderabad-Warangal National Highway are experiencing hardships on account of the construction of a flyover here.
They are forced to be contend with many problems including dusty toads during hot weather and slush on the crowded roads during the rainy season. The problems become so serious that due to zero visibility. the travelers would not be able to see the road ahead.
Some vehicle-riders told The Hans India that dust was rising from pits formed following raising of pillars for the flyover and that it is becoming very difficult to travel on the roads.
They point out that if the mud/sand on the roads was removed the travel would become easy. 'If there is rain it will sweep away mud on the roads; it will ensure that there is no slush'. The road-users urged the officials concerned and the contractors to pay attention in keeping the roads abutting the underconstruction flyover clear of mud.
