Free health camp conducted at Sai Baba temple in HUDA Colony
Serilingampally: State BJP president Dr K Laxman on Thursday inaugurated a free mega health camp at Sai Baba temple in HUDA Colony. It was organised under the leadership of Dr Laxmi Lavanya Alapati of American Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology. Doctors conducted tests for diabetes, BP and other ailments and distributed medicines.
Addressing the participants at the camp, Dr Laxman stressed the need for everyone to be healthy as "health is wealth," without succumbing to the temptation of consuming liquor. "This will enable everyone in a family to be socially and financially ahead." He called upon people to take up social service as a motto.
State BJP Executive Committee member Jnanendra Prasad called upon people to do social service with a humane approach, thus taking part in country's development. Dr Lavanya pledged to be active in social service. Others present at the camp included temple committee members Srinivas Naik, Ram Reddy, Rajayya, Siddi Ramulu, Trinath Naik, BJP leaders Ravi Goud, Manik Rao, Jithender, Naveen, Lakshman, Ranganayakamma.
