Free medical camp held at prison

Chanchalguda: An HIV awareness medical camp was conducted for the inmates of Central Prison in Chanchalguda on Tuesday. It was conducted by State Prison for Mobiliser M Ashok, Counsellor T Indira, Lab Technicians T Naresh and K Mamatha from Telangana Aids Control Society Osmania Hospital.

As many as 132 inmates were examined and counselled. The Superintendent of Prisons K Arjun Rao appreciated the efforts of staff of Osmania Hospital in organising this medical camp.

Speaking on this occasion, Arjun Rao stated that this HIV awareness medical camp had eased the problem of escorting huge numbers of prisoners to examined hospital.

Deputy Superintendent of Prisons Dr D Srinivas, Jailor A Venkatesham, Jailor V Shashikanth, Jailor R Srinivas and other Jail officers were present.
