Free medical camp held by Owaisi Hospitals
Charminar: With the objective of providing free access to people suffering from seasonal fevers and dengue, AIMIM, Owaisi Group of Hospitals and Asad Hospital are jointly organising a free medical and health camp. Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi inaugurated the camp at Urdu Maskan Hall in Khilwath.
Later briefing the media, Charminar MLA Mumtaz Ahmed Khan said the doctors, led by Asra Hospital Superintendent Dr Adil, examined all those who visited the camp in the morning hours. The free medical camp, he said, was specially being organised to identify the symptoms of the seasonal and vector-borne diseases like Dengue, Malaria and other viral fevers.
During the camp, medicines for various ailments were also distributed among the residents for free, after doctors identified the ailment. "After identifying the need that general population was finding it difficult to approach hospitals near their houses, owing to their financial and other constraints, AIMIM has decided to conduct free medical check-up camps in each of the constituencies. This time around, the camp was organised in Khilwat and thousands of residents benefited from all kinds of tests," he said.
The MLA further said that the party was committed to the people and it had been leaving no stone unturned for their welfare. "The party is ready for addressing the grievances of the people and hope that the people remain attached and get benefited through the welfare programmes being undertaken by the party at different levels," he added.
Party corporators Syed Sohail Quadri (Pathergatti), Md Mustafa Ali (Shalibanda) and other party leaders and activists took active part in the free medical camp. This was the fifth camp being organised by party in coordination with the staff from different hospitals of the Old City.
