Garbage dumping causes stench

Gangaram: Heaps of garbage being dumped near Gangaram Hanuman temple in Chandanagar. The garbage mainly includes plastic waste. This condition of the area has been from more than one month. The residents of the area said that the GHMC workers have been neglecting the garbage that is to be cleaned.

Moreover, people from different areas also dump their garbage and leave. Most of the garbage dumped here is plastic waste. There is an unpleasant smell the whole day and residents here suffer due to mosquito menace. Not only the garbage is been left over, but one-fourth of the road has been covered with mud and stones.
