Garbage piles up under flyover

Moosapet: The space under the Moosapet flyover has turned into a garbage dumping site. Similar is the condition of many other flyovers in the city. This has become a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Piles of garbage are thrown under the flyover, which not only makes the place unclean and unhygienic but also annoys pedestrians and motorists. The empty space under the flyover has become a temporary garbage dump in the localities. Residents and commuters complain of the foul smell from heaps of waste dumped under the flyover.

"We have complained to the corporation but nothing has changed. The waste is scattered under the flyover and on the sides of the road which makes it difficult for pedestrians to walk," said Govind, a resident
