Speaking to the additional commissioners and chief engineers in video conference, Dana Kishore said around 75 per cent potholes have been filled out of 4,000 potholes that were identified by the authorities in two days. He instructed the officials to inspect the internal roads as well along with the main roads.

The roads on flyovers also turned to bad condition due to the rains that lashed the city recently, so even these need to be repaired as well, he said. Around 5 lakh saplings were planted in government and in vacant places in government offices, he said. This week we have to conduct the programmes to plant the saplings in 616 vacant places across the city, he added.

GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and GHMC Commissioner will be participating in a large-scale planting event on Tuesday at the Delhi Public School campus at Nacharam. The event begins at 9 am and around 5,000 students will be planting the saplings.
