GHMC staff slaps huge penalties

Hyderabad: GHMC collected a record amount of Rs 47,53,800 in sanitation drive on Thursday. They issued challans of Rs.22,30,000 in Chandanagar division alone. Restaurants and shopping malls paid a huge amount in the drive.

Hotel Paradise in Secunderabad laid a penality of 1 lakh rupees and Hotel Cafe Bahar in Sagar Ring Road laid a penality of 1 lakh rupees for untidy kitchen premises. Another Mall in Chandanagar laid a penality of 3 lakh rupees for illegal video display.
