GHMC standing panel adopts key resolutions
Hyderabad: The Standing Committee of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) approved around 16 resolutions in its meeting held under the chairmanship of Mayor Dr Bonthu Rammohan on Thursday.
GHMC Commissioner M Dana Kishore, members of standing committee, GHMC officials Adwaith Kumar Singh, Sikta Patnaik, Sandeep Jha, zonal commissioners and director of town planning were present at the meeting.
A major decision was that Saaf-Shaandar Hyderabad initiative would be extended to all the wards in GHMC limits. A resolution was passed to increase honorarium from Rs 100 to 200 for outsourcing veterinary doctors who performed birth control operations on street dogs.
The 30-meter road development project from Shastripuram Junction to Faluknama via Vattinagulapalli was mooted and okayed at the meeting.
