GHMC to accord priority to plaints on streetlights

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner M Dana Kishore has impressed upon the staff concerned to accord priority to complaints regarding maintenance of streetlights. At a meeting to review the working of electricity wing, Dana Kishore stated that 425,357 LED lights have been installed in the city in place of streetlights.

Officials informed the Commissioner that 26,581 CCMS units have been put in place to supervise the maintenance of streetlights. They stated that of the 88,315 complaints received so far, 87,344 have been redressed since the implementation of the LED project. Such complaints should be addressed to the toll-free number 1800-180-3580.
