Gowliguda temple Bonalu arrangements checked

Abibs: Gunfoundry Corporator Mamatha Santosh Gupta and officials of various departments on Thursday inspected the arrangements for the Bonalu festival in Gowliguda in Goshamahal constituency, on July 29. Temple committee members were present.

Gupta and temple committee chairman Shankar Yadav, Transco, police, GHMC and HMWSSB officials held a meeting to review the measures. They stated that all required and suitable steps, besides precautions, would be taken to ensure that devotees do not face any hardships.

Representatives of the temple committee said they would make grand arrangements in coordination with the officials of all departments concerned. Later, the corporator participated in the deity's 'Phalaharam Bandi' and 'Ghatam' programmes.
