Hanuman Jayanthi fete held amid fanfare

Hafizpet: As part of the Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations organized by Hanuman Youth Association here on Wednesday, a rally was taken out in Hafizpet with the deity. BJP state committee member Gyanendra Prasad and a large number of youths participated in the rally.

Speaking on the occasion, Gyanendra Prasad expressed his happiness over the presence of a large number youths participating in the rally. He said that it was the responsibility of every youth to protect and preserve Hindu culture and traditions.

Explaining the significance of Lord Hanuman in the Hindu religion, he said that the deity was revered for his devotion towards Lord Rama. There was no village in India which has no Hanuman temple, he added.

TRS leader Goutham Goud, who participated in the rally, said every youth who participated in the celebrations would get blessings of the God. Local corporator Jagadishwar Goud, Hanuman Youth Association members Narender Goud, Venkatesh Goud, Venkatesh Mudhiraj, Pandu, Jithender, Devender, Bhaskar, Praveen, Ravi Goud, Koteshwar Rao, Prasad, villagers, activists of Bajrangdal and large number of youth participated in the celebrations.
