Hyderabad: Heat wave conditions forecast to persist

Hyderabad: The citizens are being forced to stay indoors during the day due to scorching heat wave conditions in Hyderabad. Heat wave conditions continue to linger in the state at most regions recording maximum temperatures between 38 to 41 degree Celsius, said TSDPS.

Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) said the present weather in the state remains mainly dry and there is a possibility of light to moderate rains or thundershowers on Wednesday, thereafter, it is mostly dry.

The highest temperature has recorded to 42.5 degree Celsius at Qutbullapur in the Greater Hyderabad limits, which is the highest temperature for this year in Hyderabad.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), moderate rain or thunder showers are very likely to occur at a few places across Telangana. However, the overall temperatures are not likely to change as TSDPS mentioned that they are expected to be two to three degrees above normal at many places during the next three days.
