Heavy rush at railway stations

Secunderabad: On Sunday, Secunderabad railway station thronged with passengers as people started leaving for them native places to celebrate Dasara festival.

Several trains such as Visakha Express, Faluknuma Express, Godavari Express, Chennai Express and Narayanadri Express were filled to brim. Lakhs of people in the city visit their native villages for Dasara festival every year.

As most of them opt for railway for their journey, railway stations at Secunderabad and Nampally witnessed heavy rush on Sunday. Dasara and Bathukamma festivals are celebrated with gaiety and most people who live in cities prefer to spend their vacations at their villages.
