Hindustan Aeronautics Limited staff stage dharna, demand 15% fitment

Kukatpally: Employees of the public sector Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on Wednesday staged dharna in front of the factory here demanding increased fitment of 15 per cent, under the auspices of HAL Employees Associations.

The demand was supported by Medchal district BJP president Madhavaram Kantha Rao, who visited the dharna camp. While pledging the party's support to the demand, Rao stated that it would be taken to the notice of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy to ensure that justice was done to the HAL employees.

Among the participants in the dharna were BMS president Janakiram, general secretary Vengal Rao, activists Sridhar, Umashankar, Ram Reddy, and leaders of various trade unions.
