Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali lays stone for Dargah Yousufain works

Nampally: Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, along with Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin and TS Wakf Board Chairman Mohammed Saleem, laid foundation stone for the construction works of a graveyard and Wazukhana (bathrooms) in Dargah-e-Yousufain in Nampally on Sunday.

Speaking to the media, the minister said that the works were sanctioned on the basis of a representation made by Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin and that the government has sanctioned around Rs 21 lakh for the works. For the graveyard, a boundary wall costing Rs 18.75 lakh and for Wazu Khana (bathrooms) in Dargah Rs 1.75 lakh were sanctioned and the works will be started in coming days.

While praising Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, he said that KCR believes in Sufi saints and for the JP Dargah he sanctioned 50 acres of land and cash of Rs 50 crore. The plans were ready, and construction works will be started soon. And for the Islamic Centre, the Chief Minister has sanctioned 10 acres of land and Rs 50 crore. Senior leaders Mir Inayath Ali Baqri, Muqeet Chanda, Mohammed Mahmoob and other TRS party leaders were present on the occasion.
