Hyderabad: All set for grand inauguration of new Secretariat today
♦ CM KCR will officially inaugurate the new Secretariat between 1:10 pm and 1:20 pm
♦ After the inauguration, CM KCR will occupy his seat in his chambers on the 6th floor
Hyderabad: The stage is set for the grand inauguration of the BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Sunday. Several events are lined up since morning to the afternoon when Chief Minister will officially inaugurate the new building. Special pujas and Yagams will be performed at the special Yagashala set up at the venue.
“Pujas and homams for the inauguration of the new Secretariat will start at 5am in the morning. Puja programmes will be completed on the premises of the new secretariat by 10 am”, officials said.
Special ‘Mandapam’ was established to perform Sudharshana Yagam by a group of the noted priests. State R & B Minister V Prashant Reddy and top officials will participate in the yagam.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will officially inaugurate the new Secretariat between 1:10 pm to 1:20 pm. After the inauguration, CM KCR will occupy his seat in his chambers in 6th floor.
After that, the Ministers, secretaries, CMO and Secretariat staff will assume their chairs in their chambers and start discharging their duties.
Leaders said that the CM will also perform special puja in his chambers in the sixth floor which was established with an area of one lakh square feet. The Chief Minister’s office was constructed with white marble, and special sections have been set up for the staff. In order to meet the people and hold a Praja Darbar, a hall has also been arranged in the name of ‘Janahita’ with 250 seating capacity.
In the cabinet hall, 25 Ministers and more than 30 officials cam sot. There is one hall for 60 people and another hall for 50 people has been constructed for conducting meetings with the Collectors. A state-of-the-art dining hall is also set up to seat around 25 people to dine with distinguished guests like foreign delegates and top leaders of the country during their State visit.
Closure of parks in vicinity of Secretariat
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has announced closure of all the parks and recreation centers in the vicinity of Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, which would be inaugurated on Sunday.
The Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will inaugurate the new Secretariat building on Sunday afternoon. HMDA announced that Lumbini Park, NTR Garden, NTR Ghat and Laser Show will be closed on Sunday in view of the crowded conditions in the vicinity of the State Secretariat, with the intention of not causing any trouble to the common people.
