Hyderabad: BJP corporator-elect Ramesh Goud dead
Hyderabad: Akula Ramesh Goud, former LB Nagar Municipal Chairman and BJP Corporator-elect from Lingojiguda in the recently held Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, breathed his lost while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city on Thursday. He was admitted in a hospital immediately after his election with COVID symptoms.
Expressing shock, BJP National Executive member Nallu Indrasena Reddy remembered how Goud worked hard and observed fast for the distribution of house sites for tribals.
His demise was a loss to the party, he added. BJP State chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar recalled Goud's services as the chairman of the LB Nagar municipality. He recalled Goud was always among people and worked for the welfare of the poor.
Leaders expressed their heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family.
