Brace for colder nights

Hyderabad: Even as there was an appreciable fall ranging from 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius in the night temperature across the State during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Sunday, the IMD bulletin forecast 15 degrees Celsius on December 21, with fog or mist occurring in the early morning.

The temperatures were below normal by -1.6 to -3 deg C in some parts.

The bulletin said while the minimum temperature on December 22 would be 15 it would be 14 deg C on the next four days. The ourlook would be partly cloudy sky with haze.

The lowest night temperature in the State was 9 degrees Celsius, and the lowest of the season so far was recorded in Adilabad. The other temperatures recorded in the State were: Ramagundam 13, Dundigal 13.8, Hanamkonda 14, Medak 14.7, Hyderabad 15, Nizamabad 15.2, Hakimpet 15.4, Nalgonda 16, Bhadrachalam 17.4, Mahbubnagar 17.5, Khammam 17.6.
