Hyderabad City declared open defecation free
Hyderabad: Bonthu Rammohan, the city Mayor, congratulated Hyderabadis after the city was declared as Open Defecation Free City by Government of India on Tuesday.
He said, "A useful initiative of Loo Cafes and She Toilets by GHMC attained recognition at national-level. A bit more effort and greater maintenance by department officials concerned every day and frequent inspections would help GHMC in installing a few more Loo Cafes and Toilets at more needed locations."
The Mayor also congratulated the denizens of Hyderabad through a tweet, which reads, "Good going Hyderabad. Congrats to all, as our city has been declared as Open Defecation Free City (ODF++) by GoI. Got recognition for LooCafes, She toilets and faecal sludge treatment plants."
