Hyderabad City girl reigns in national Karate championship

Hyderabad: Syeda Falak, hailed as the golden girl from the city in the world of martial arts, won the gold medal at the KAI Senior National Karate Championship 2019 held at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai from June 10 to 11.

She won in the +68kgs Senior Female Individual Kumite Category, defeating opponent from Uttar Pradesh in the semi-finals with 8-0 score, and also defeating another opponent from Haryana in the finals with 5-2 score.
