Minorities panel chairman holds special hearing

Hyderabad: Telangana State Minorities Commission (TSMC) Chairman Mohammed Qamaruddin conducted a special hearing of the case of a petitioner Sardar Amruth Singh from Palavancha village in Khammam district, at the Minority Commission office here on Friday.

The case is related to change of Names in the Pahanies of the Land belonging to the petitioner and inserting names of 10 others. The land admeasuring 40 acres is situated in survey no 741 to 745 of Palavancha. It was observed that this case had been lying with the Khammam District Collector for the past 10 years and later transferred to the Collector of Kothagudem district.

District Minority Welfare Officer, Kothagudem district, attended the hearing and could not give a satisfactory explanation to the commission.

It was directed that the RDO of Kothagudem and the Tahsildar of Palavancha should attend the next hearing on December 22 along with relevant revenue records. MA Azeem, Member of the Commission, Harish Chander Sahu, Secretary of the Commission, attended the hearing.
