Hyderabad: Notorious house burglars nabbed
Hyderabad: The sleuths of CCS along with Nacharam police on Thursday arrested two notorious house burglars when they were moving around POT market in Secunderabad in a suspicious manner.
They were identified as Md. Sabdar and Md Ayub. Cops seized 42 tolas of gold, 72 tolas of silver, Rs 36,000 cash, all worth Rs 26 lakh, from their possession.
According to police, the accused were habitual offenders and used to move around in localities to target a house which was locked. After selecting a house, they would break open into the house and commit the offence.
Md Sabdar is a native of UP and he has been involved in 33 cases of property offences. Md Ayub also known as Bada Ayub is a native of Bahadurpura and was involved in 118 cases of property offences.
Though both the accused were several times and also booked under PD Act multiple times, they have not changed their ways. They were produced before court which remanded in judicial custody.
