Police help techie to shift ailing mother to hospital on bike

The Hyderabad police on Tuesday helped a software engineer to shift his ailing mother to a hospital on the bike. With no ambulance available in the view of Bharat Bandh, the techie, Sai Teja shifted tried to shift his mother who nearby hospital after she fainted.

However, Sai Teja was stuck in the traffic at the KPHB road when the protestors blocked the road in the view of the bandh. Teja said that he sought help from the Cyberabad police after he was unable to move forward on the road and worried about his mother's health condition. The police responded swiftly and allowed the son and mother to take the wrong side of the road clearing the passage to reach the hospital.

The police said that they received the call from the control room saying that a woman needed immediate medical assistance and helped them to reach a hospital. It took almost three hours to shift the woman to the hospital from their home.

Farmers across the nation took part in the protest across the country against the new farm laws. The bandh had an impact 25 states.
