Three techies held for selling drugs in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Two software engineers caught while selling drugs by the excise department enforcement wing officials. The three persons are said to have been procuring the drugs from agency areas in Visakhapatnam. The arrested were identified as Sivasena Reddy of RTC colony in Moula Ali, Sai of Kamalanagar Nagar of Vanasthalipuram, Harshavardhan of Pocharam in Ghatkesar.

On a receipt of information, the excise enforcement and narcotic special squad caught the three persons in Tarnaka and arrested him. The officials seize 56 LSD blots each weighing 150 micrograms along with plastic bottles containing hashish oil.

During the inquiry, Sivasena Reddy said that he purchased each LSD blot for Rs 800 during his recent visit to Goa and was selling the same here for Rs 2,000 per blot. Officials also said that Sai used to arrange hashish oil which was allegedly supplied by his friend Harshavardhan for Rs 2,500 per bottle and they sold it for Rs 4,000.

The man who supplied hashish oil to Harshavardhan is now absconding. The police registered a case and are investigating.
