Hyderabad: Woman hangs self in front of children, records selfie video

In a tragic incident, a woman hanged herself from the ceiling while recording a selfie video here on Sunday morning at Lalaguda in Secunderabad. She was identified as Manjula.

The woman got married for 12 years and her husband runs a bakery. She has two sons -- Ranjith (11) and Tejas (10).

The two children who were at home found out their mother's move and alerted their father. They also tried to persuade their mother but in vain. Manjula hanged herself in front of their children. The woman's husband rushed to the spot and was shocked after his wife dead. Later, he informed the police who rushed to the place.

The police brought the body down and shifted it to a hospital for autopsy. The reason for the woman's suicide is yet to be ascertained. An investigation is underway.
