IKEA India launches free shuttle service

Gachibowli: IKEA India, the Swedish home furnishing company, has launched its free 'IKEA Shuttle Service' in the city. The objective is to ensure good IKEA store accessibility for the people in Hyderabad. Four shuttles will run from four different locations in Hyderabad to the IKEA store in Hi-Tec City.

• The service will operate between 9 am and 8:30 pm

• It will take four rounds to and from the IKEA store

The shuttle service is from the routes across the suburban localities – Erragadda Metro Station, Paradise Metro Station, ESI Metro Station, Ameerpet Metro Station – which will serve as a pick-up and drop-off point. The first shuttle service will operate between 9 am and 8:30 pm and take four rounds to and from the IKEA store.

Customers can avail of the IKEA shuttle service from the nearest metro station to the IKEA store and back, on a first-come first-serve basis. Speaking of the launch of the new Shuttle Service, Aurelie Raimon, Store Manager, IKEA Hyderabad, said, "Our research indicates that travelling to Hi-Tec City for shopping is difficult for the many people living in the city.

IKEA understands this and wants to ensure good accessibility for shoppers & many people staying in Hyderabad through this new service. We look forward to welcoming many more people in Hyderabad."
