Inspiring RTC drivers to halt at bus bays

LB Nagar: LB Nagar Traffic Police in a novel manner sensitised RTC bus drivers on Friday on stopping buses only at bus bays and not on the roads by handing over rose flowers to them.
On the occasion, Additional Inspector Anjapalli Nagamallu said the Vijayawada Bus Stop at LB Nagar Ring Road has been shifted 200 meters away toward Chintalakunta.
"Higher officials made the decision to reduce traffic jam," he added. Traffic SIs Narasimhulu, Ismail, Prathapa Reddy and others took part in the friendly policing programme.
